Frequently asked questions
How is this program different from typical AP review courses?
Most review courses rely on long lecture-style sessions.
AP Physics 1: Final Sprint focuses on daily guided practice instead. Students receive small, targeted assignments every day and meet regularly in small groups to solve exam-level problems together. This structure keeps students working consistently and prevents last-minute cramming.
How does the daily practice work?
Each day students receive assigned AP-style practice problems through the Physics On Track learning platform. These include:
- Multiple-choice questions (auto-graded)
- Free-response questions (instructor graded)
This daily structure keeps students engaged and steadily improving throughout the program.
What happens during the live sessions?
Live sessions occur every third day in small groups. During these sessions we:
- Work through exam-level problems
- Discuss common mistakes
- Strengthen problem-solving strategies
Sessions are focused on active problem solving rather than lectures.
What if I miss a live session?
Students are encouraged to attend all sessions to get the most out of the program. If a session is missed, a recording will be available for review.
How do students receive feedback on Free-Response Questions?
Free-response questions are reviewed and graded by the instructor, with feedback provided directly through the learning platform so students can understand how to improve their reasoning and presentation.
How much time should students expect to spend each day?
Students should expect to spend about 45 minutes to 1 hour per day completing the assigned practice problems. The goal is to maintain consistent daily progress without overwhelming students during the final month before the exam.
Can I cancel the payment plan?
Yes. You may cancel the payment plan at any time. If you cancel, no future payment will be charged.
